Peer Pressure
When I was in high school
I thought it was cool
To hang with the fellahs
And act like a fool
As I got older, I came to see
That the friends I had
meant nothing to me
Peer pressure is one reason
I wanted to be
A member of a group
Where everyone could see
Peers are people
in the same age group
They influence you to do things
That you don't want to do
They make you uncomfortable
They make you weak
They make you noticeable
They make you cheat
Everyone faces peer pressure
It's nothing new
Not knowing how to handle it
Is something I out grew.
