I'm Serious
I'm serious about my life
and how it is designed
It's time to put down things
That will cause me to decline
March on to something new
In which few people ever do
Releasing off the energies
That can definitely benefit you
Taking strides of great success
and putting yourself to the test
Refusing to be mediocre
and continuing that positive quest
I'm serious, this time around
and I'm here to tell you now
That this is my life I'm dealing with
and not some silly clown
It's time for me to decide
on what I want to do
Live in the past and don't improve
or realize that dreams comes true
Whatever it takes I'll sacrifice
just go get ahead
Let go the old and start with the new
and let negatives go unsaid
I'm serious about my life
no matter what it takes
I need no rhyme for this here verse
