Hold your head up high

There is no need to cry

Forget about the pain

There is much more to gain

Wash away your tears

That brings you sorrow

Hold your head up high

and look forward to tomorrow

Deep within you will find

A source of power that is strong

everlasting and divine

All existing troubles will soon be put to rest

Be like a bird and build your own nest

Dependability comes when you rely on someone else

Let it not be your fault  -- If you can do it yourself

Hold your head up high

Every chance you get

And in the long run there will be no regret
