You’ve
Made a Difference in My Life
Many fail to grasp the
importance
Of being a mentor, an
inspiration to someone else
Displaying love,
compassion and concern
Many fail to recognize
its true healing power
So many are preoccupied
with minute issues
Walking blindly through
life
Failing to see the
plight of others, the masses
Easily persuaded by
world views and behaviors
Many people thoughts are
contaminated and poisoned
By a degradative and
immoral society
We’ve all created
But I can honestly say
That you’ve made a
difference in my life
You’ve touched my soul with
your kindness and generosity
You’ve inspired me with
your presence
You’ve taught me
humility and understanding
Through suffering
I’m now putting forth a
valiant effort
to be less judgmental of
others
To be less of this world
yet still reside in it
And I want you to know
You have truly made a
difference in my life
When enthused about life
and living
You are there
When depressed and need
uplifting
You are there
When alone in my
thoughts
And contemplating many things
You are there
When feeling sad and
hopeless
No friends or family to
assist in my despair
You are there
When money is scarce
And life seems a bit
unfair
Still, You are there
And I just want to say
That you’ve made a
difference in my life
