INNOCENCE LOST

Two independent wills merging

One with the innocence of a lamb

The other tainted by the world

Both exploring new possibilities

With one another

Souls being connected in the process

The tip, the tip

The single eye gets the first look

As it gradually teases its lips

Soft and compliant

Demanding yet gentle

Slowly molding every inch of the entrance

Yielding to persistence

The white sheet now has a spot of color

A weakness exposed with very little regret

As the desire for more gets stronger by the moment

Both consumed with passion

Like darkness meeting light for the very first time

And from this connection

The newness is no more, the innocence now lost

And their separation will only occur

When sleep succumbs them both

And even then, their connection will remain.
